To graph this equation we're going to make AT chart, we're
going to have our X's and more Our YSI recommend doing a couple
positive zero and a couple negatives.
If I have two, I'm going to literally stick 2IN when I see
the X.
So 2 + 2 would give me a four.
Then I'm going to stick one in for the X 1 + 2 is 3.
Then I'm going to stick zero in for the X 0 + 2 is 2 negative 1
+ 2 one -2 + 2 zero.
So remember this is X + 2.
So all I'm really doing is I'm sticking in the values of X and
then adding two to each one.
So now we're going to plot the points.
We're going to go over 2 and up four.
We're going to go over one and up three, 02 -1 one and then -2
zero.
Now to actually do this with the coarse compass, I would
recommend hitting the plus.
And here is our line tool.
So we're going to say -2 zero was one of the points and two
four was another point.
If you look up in the right, it's going to show you the
points.
See up here, right here.
It's going to tell you where we're at.
So I want 24 as my second point.
When I do that, I can hit save.
And then if I hit check answer it should show me whether I got
it correct or not.
