Using the graph on the right, find the value of the following g -, F of two. Well, if I have g -, F of two, what that's really saying is I want the G equation for the value of X being two, and I want to take away the F equation when the X value is 2. So when we look at this graph, we want the G equation. Here's the G when my X value is 2. So we're using this graph to read the Y. This point is the .2 negative 2. So when X is 2, our Y or our G of two is -2. Now we're going to do the same thing, but we're going to look for the F equation. So the F equation here when X was two we get AY value here of X is 2, our Y value is 4. Now remember this is for the F of X equation and this one down here was for the G of X equation. So when X was two, our Y or our F of X was four. So -2 -, 4 is -6. This problem is asking us to look at the graph, find the X values, read the respective Y values, and then just subtract the two numbers.
