The absolute value of three y -, 5 greater than -10. This is going to be all numbers because an absolute value is always greater than a negative. If we didn't see that we can do three y -, 5 greater than -10, it's a great OR, so it's an OR statement. The opposite of the inside three y -, 5 has to be greater than -10. So in the first one, if we add five and divide by three, we get Y greater than -5 thirds. The second one, if we divide everything through by a -1, we flip that inequality sign, so we get three y -, 5 less than 10, add our five, divide by three, we get Y less than five. So if we put those both on a number line and we realize it's an or statement OR means only one or the other has to be shaded. So if we look at this number line, something is shaded at every single location on the number line. So our answer is going to be negative Infinity to Infinity.
