This presentation will serve as an introduction to the Supplemental Guide, a K–2 tool designed to support educators seeking to meet the specific needs of ELLs (as well as children with weak or lagging language skills).   The presentation will provide an overview of the Supplemental Guide and highlight key features.  A Toolkit Framework will also be presented to guide teachers in considering various types of instructional adjustments that can occur when conducting Listening & Learning lessons; exemplars of such adjustments will be shown through the Supplemental Guide.
